Tyler Collins is PrecisionHawk’s VP of Airspace Services – LATAS. Tyler joined PrecisionHawk as an early employee in the startup company shortly after graduating from Indiana State University to fly drones for enterprise customers. He has since recruited many Pi Kappa Phi brothers into the company as they have grown to well over 100 employees in size. Collins has championed the use of drones across civilian applications and has actively propelled the safe integration of drones in the national airspace through the creation of LATAS. LATAS is currently poised to be the base ecosystem for drone air traffic control and is being tested directly with the FAA and NASA, as well as industry partners including Verizon, Harris and DigitalGlobe. Collins is an FAA-certified pilot who graduated Magna Cum Laude and Eta Beta Chapter from Indiana State University in 2013.
