Risk Management Education

Pi Kappa Phi uses a comprehensive approach to risk management education, working to address the negative behaviors associated with alcohol and drug abuse, hazing, and sexual abuse and harassment. Through education, training and mature adult guidance, we provide the tools to help students make good choices and to understand the consequences of their choices.

Our Policy

The Pi Kappa Phi Risk Management Policy adheres to the the NIC Healthy & Safety Guidelines. Ultimately, the fraternity’s risk management policy is a document that can help members reduce our risks as individuals and as an organization and keep members safe.

Philosophy Statements

In addition to Pi Kappa Phi’s risk management policy, the Fraternity has adopted philosophy statements regarding alcohol, illegal drugs and other controlled substances and hazing, as well as sexual misconduct and domestic violence. Striving to be a responsible member of the higher education community, Pi Kappa Phi is highly concerned about the abuse of alcohol and other drugs, as well as hazing, believing these behaviors prevent members from realizing their full potential as citizens and from exemplifying the true characteristics of brotherhood. Accordingly, the Fraternity uses these philosophy statements as guiding documents for our students, staff and volunteers.
