Viguerie has been a long-time political strategist, fundraiser and writer, publishing five books since his first in 1981.
Takeover outlines Viguerie’s way to establish limited constitutional conservatism as the governing philosophy of the Republican Party and bring organization back to Congress and the White House. Viguerie also details the storied history of the battle for the soul of Republican Party and offers practical advice and outlines the steps necessary for conservatives to win the civil war in the GOP and govern America by 2017. Although focused on moving forward, Takeover also revisits the history of the Republican party all the way back to President Teddy Roosevelt splitting the Republican party.
Virguerie was inducted into the Pi Kappa Phi Hall of Fame in 2008.
