UIFI & Leadershape Scholarship Reflection

Pi Kappa Phi is a brotherhood committed to encouraging our members to become exceptional leaders. We continue to offer scholarships to undergraduate members who to take part in the AFLV LeaderShape program or the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) each summer.

During Summer 2015, Pi Kappa Phi awarded four undergraduate members scholarships for the AFLV LeaderShape Institute. This institute challenges participants to lead with integrity while working towards a vision grounded in their deepest values. Participants explore not only what they want to do, but who they want to be. In addition to the four men who represented Pi Kappa Phi at the AFLV LeaderShape Institute, two members also received scholarships to attend the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI). UIFI is a five-day leadership experience presented by the North-American Interfraternity Council (NIC) in Bloomington, Ind. The institute seeks to inspire and educate the current generation of fraternity and sorority leaders to become dedicated, courageous and principled builders of the future.

All six of these men demonstrated their commitment to becoming exceptional leaders through their participation in these week-long leadership programs over the summer and Pi Kappa Phi was happy to have them represent the fraternity in this capacity. Check out their stories below to learn more about their experiences and how it impacted them as a leader in their chapter and community!
