Petty Officer Second Class Jonathan Huth had no intention of attending college when he joined the U.S. Navy after graduating high school in 2003, but leadership in the military eventually led him to leadership in the fraternity. In his six years in the Navy, his exemplary leadership earned him promotion to the rank of Petty Officer Second Class. Huth earned the position of Watch Commander in his final year of service and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his outstanding service. After leaving the Navy he began college at University of Texas San Antonio, where he became a founding father of Iota Beta chapter. During his time in the chapter, he served as Chaplain and eventually Archon, leading the chapter to its largest fundraising for Push America to date.
