2020 Thirty Under 30: Dan Melville

Dan is a devoted brother with an unwavering devotion to his community. During his collegiate time in the Iota Epsilon chapter he was a Founding Father, served as treasurer for three years and played an influential role in starting an annual 5K in honor of Dave Stefanovige, an Iota Epsilon Founding Father who passed away in a tragic accident. Since graduating in 2014 from Susquehanna University, he has been invited back to speak to current students about life after college and help guide them to a good career path. In his professional life, he is a Partner at Financial Voyages LLC, a wealth management firm in Harleysville, PA, where he has worked for the past six years. While working full-time he went back to school and earned his Master of Business Administration in 2018. And the following year he was named a Five Star Wealth Manager by Philadelphia Magazine. His true passion lies in firefighting and volunteering for the Perkiomen Township Fire Company. Dan has been a volunteer firefighter for the past 14 years and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2016. He also has been called on by several volunteer fire departments to assist them with their financial planning and investing needs. This allowed him to merge his professional career with his passion for helping volunteer fire departments. He believes his background of being a brother and experience as a volunteer firefighter has made him a more well-rounded individual. Having been a leader in his chapter he was able to learn how to overcome challenges that he has faced in the real world.
