William Whitson

After graduating from Furman, Will Whitson took a job as an overnight production crew member at a local news affiliate in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He worked his way up to reporter before moving to Columbia to serve as State House correspondent for five TV stations across the state. Will covered both the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections, as well as several major nationwide stories, including the Charleston Church Shooting and the removal of the Confederate Battle Flag from the SC State House grounds. Will currently works as a news producer for Fox News Channel in Washington D.C., where he lives with his wife and young daughter, Nora. Will is active in church life, volunteering with his wife in the church nursery and leading small groups on weekends.
