Almost as quickly, the two most recent Shuttle Missions, featuring Pi Kapp Astronauts Roger Crouch (Old Dominion – Gamma Beta) and Ed Lu (Cornell – Psi), have thrust the fraternity into the national limelight. At 2:20:32 p.m. on April 4, the Space Shuttle Columbia blasted off from Cape Canaveral. With the launch, Roger Crouch made Pi Kapp history as our first fraternity member to travel aboard a spacecraft.
