Sean Reinertson, Bradley Hudson, Garrett Dupree, Matthew Thrasher, and Gage Nippert worked alongside other volunteers to help the Smith County resident gain the ability to leave her home. “It was extremely rewarding to see the resident go up and down the ramp on her chair,” Dupree said.
According to Texas Ramp Project coordinator George Cronin, this was the group’s 71st ramp in the Tyler area this year and one of the 10,000 completed since the organization was established.
Reinertson said he has encouraged many of his chapter members to volunteer with the effort. “It only takes a few hours to make a difference for years to come.”
