Theta Alpha wins intramural soccer tournament

Shaun and Preston had traveled the night before the tournament to Oxford, Mississippi to help initiate 101 new members at Ole Miss, finishing up at 2:00 a.m. The group decided to drive back because the first soccer game was at 9:00 a.m. They arrived back in Hattiesburg at 6:00 a.m. and slept for two hours before going to the intramural fields. The team lost their first game to ATO, but won the rest of the games, leading them to the finals to face ATO once more. It was a very high intensity and exciting game, but Jacob Garrett scored with one minute remaining to put Pi Kappa Phi five goals to four, and they were able to hold out until the end. Needless to say, the brothers were absolutely exhausted after playing soccer from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., but it turned out to be one of their favorite college memories so far.
