Scott Gesinger was born and raised in Minnesota, and sets many of his stories there. He became hooked on writing at an early age, and lists his influences as including Stephen King, Edgar Allen Poe, and H.P. Lovecraft. Scott’s first short story collection, Pleiades Rising was released in September 2012. Scott lives near Minneapolis, Minnesota with his family.
