The Ability Experience welcomes Chelsea Ball

As Director of Logistics, Chelsea is responsible for the planning of Journey of Hope, Gear Up Florida, Build America and anniversary ride logistics. Part of those responsibilities include risk management, execution of event safety, as well as training and managing five project managers to meet program goals. In this role, Chelsea can use her passion for student development, event planning and serving the community to create opportunities of shared experiences with men of Pi Kappa Phi and people with disabilities.

Chelsea is a member of Pi Beta Phi women’s fraternity and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2012. She also earned her master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina in 2014. During her time at South Carolina, Chelsea found her passion for service when she led the 2013 southern U.S. route for Bike & Build, a young adult driven non-profit organization that raises money and awareness for affordable housing through cross-country cycling trips. She previously served on Bike & Build’s Alumni Council and continues to stay active in the organization today.

In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys staying active, running, cycling and doing yoga at Y2 Yoga. Her favorite part about Charlotte is the opportunity to participate in free community-based workouts at various places every day of the week.
