Why did you sign up for this event?
I signed up for Journey of Hope because of all of the stories I heard when I was at Ability Camp last year in Clemson. After hearing the stories of Pi Alphas from other chapters as well as in my own chapter, I decided to join them and do Journey of Hope this summer! I also have a newly formed passion for helping people with disabilities after participating in multiple Ability Camps and Ability Weekends. The friendship visits really put into perspective why we are raising all of this money for The Ability Experience.
What are you most excited for this summer?
I am most exited about seeing parts of the country I have never seen before as well as the friendship visits. I am also excited about spending the summer with brothers from all around the country who have the same passion for The Ability Experience that I do.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I am a meteorology major and plan to become a broadcast meteorologist!
