Student Spotlight – May 2016 – Kolby Eller

Pictured second from the right

Throughout his time as a member of Pi Kappa Phi, he has always shown potential to become a leader not only within his chapter but also the Missouri State community. After his initial semester as an associate member, he was elected as historian. In addition to holding the historian position and keeping up with his academics, he was the director of marketing for Fraternity and Sorority Leaders for Social Awareness, he completed the Missouri State Emerging Leaders Program, and he interned for Missouri State Representative Crystal Quade and Senator Claire McCaskill. And that’s only his work as a freshman going into his sophomore year.

Kolby is also a Pi Kapp College for Emerging Leaders 2015 graduate, currently serves as the IFC Director of Social Awareness and recently applied to be on the student advisory committee for the It’s On Us campaign. This summer he is impacting the lives of incoming freshman as a summer orientation leader at Missouri State.

Kolby shows great promise as a student leader on campus and in the Springfield community. He strives for excellence as all members of Pi Kappa Phi should do. He embodies what it truly means to be an exceptional leader as he seeks out these uncommon opportunities that Missouri State and Pi Kappa Phi provides. Good luck in all your endeavors, Kolby!
