Yesterday my world came full circle. I started serving people with disabilities in 4th grade helping my friend Brandon eat his lunch because no one else could get him to eat. He and I became friends and the rest is history; serving people with disabilities has now been a part of my life for over 13 years. This all came full circle yesterday when I met Robert , sat with him and helped him eat his lunch. At the end of the Friendship Visit I was approached and thanked by one of the staff members because normally only one staff member was ever able to get Robert to eat and he wasn’t there yesterday. I love what I’m doing and so glad that Push America has given me the opportunity to do this.
