Sam Cho

30under30 LOGOAs an undergraduate Sam served as the Alumni Relations Chair for his chapter. After graduating, he worked for the US Department of State as an analyst before leaving to obtain his master’s degree from The London School of Economics. He then went on to work for a member of Congress where he handled foreign affairs, financial services, banking, small business, economic development, and science & tech issues. In September of 2015, he received a political appointment from the Obama Administration and now works as a Special Assistant to the Deputy Administrator at the US General Services Administration. In his spare time, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) and writes articles on international politics and trade. His commentary and analysis has appeared on Global Risk Insights, Business Insider, The Diplomat, Fair Observer, and Huffington Post Live.
