The Chairman’s Award is given to individuals who act as an inspiration and a model for all who are committed to Push America and its mission.
The entire Powers Family have been supporting Push America and Pi Kappa Phi for over 20 years in a variety of ways. John Powers Sr and his wife Jan are founding members of the Push America Parent Ambassadors. John Powers Jr. is a three time Pi Alpha and a former staff member. John Sr, sons Steve and Bill, and their company Florida Powertrain have been corporate sponsors for both Journey of Hope and Gear Up Florida since 1995. Florida Powertrain is the longest tenured corporate sponsorship.
The Push America Board of Directors thank John, Jan and their entire family for being vital to the success of Push America, Pi Kappa Phi and the mission of serving people with disabilities.
