During his time as an undergraduate at Bowling Green State University, he served on the Historian, risk manager and Push America chairman. He also crewed on Journey of Hope (2007) and Gear Up Florida (2009). His ability to fundraise, problem solve and manage teams was clearly evident; before the age of 25, he oversaw all of United Way’s operations for Wood County and sat on a number of public and nonprofit boards in the area due to his expertise. The success that he brought to the United Way in Wood County earned him a promotion to a VP role in a much larger county of Wisconsin last year where he managed the lead Racine County to the largest annual campaign in its 91 year history. This spring he returned to his alma mater as a director of development in the Office of Advancement, overseeing major gift solicitations for University Libraries and Student Affairs.
