Kappa Pi Chapter chartered at Cal Poly SLO

The chapter was installed by Ability Experience Board Member Russ Faulkner, Delta Psi (UT – Arlington), and Greg Chase, Beta Epsilon (Missouri). The founding fathers were initiated into Pi Kappa Phi by the teams from the Theta Sigma Chapter at California State – Long Beach and the Kappa Mu Chapter from UC – Merced. Overall, it was a memorable evening for everyone involved.

The chapter hosted a reception at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. Representing the national fraternity at the chapter’s chartering banquet were the Assistant Director of Expansion and Growth Dalton Guthery, Alpha Gamma (Oklahoma), and Leadership Consultant Harris Rosendahl, Kappa Gamma (Montana). Brother Faulkner delivered the keynote address, where he reminded the chapter that building the ideal chapter begins after chartering. Brother Chase presented the charter and had a few remarks before the Archon, Jack Kooley, gave his address.

The Cal Poly SLO Fraternity & Sorority Life community and Pi Kappa Phi are very proud of the men of Kappa Pi and look forward to all that they will accomplish.
