In his eight years since graduation, Jason O’Rouke has proven to be a rising star in the political arena. Following graduation, O’Rouke moved to Atlanta to work for the Secretary of the Senate in the Georgia General Assembly as a legislative aide, going on to work for the Council for Quality Growth, a trade association he had interned with as an undergrad. Jason spent more than three years with CQG where he worked on transportation, environmental, land use and infrastructure policy issues that affected the Metro-Atlanta real estate industry. Jason returned to the University of Georgia in 2010 to earn his master’s in public administration, serving as president of the UGA Graduate Student Association. After completing his MPA, Jason returned to Atlanta and ran two statewide constitutional ballot campaigns in 2011, before beginning work as a legislative assistant for Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA). As a House staffer, Jason staffed the Oversight and Government Reform committee for Congressman Collins. He returned to Georgia in October 2013 to work as a political consultant and is currently managing a State School Superintendent campaign.
