As the student member to the board he will be responsible for bringing a student perspective to the board and has an important role in securing the future of the University in uncertain fiscal times. This past year he also served as the President of the Student Government Association as well as Archon of his Pi Kappa Phi Chapter. He has also worked with the state legislature on the current budget impasse and has even spoken on the floor of the Illinois House of Representatives about the impact of the budget crisis on the students. Wil has achieved all of this while maintaining a 3.9 GPA majoring in Economics. This is the third year in a row that the Student Representative to the board has been a member of the Iota Rho Chapter.
