Glenn Means III

Means served his chapter in several officer positions including Archon. He was also active on campus in Student Government Association, Board of Regents and the Alumni Advisory Board. In 2011, Glenn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and went on to pursue a master’s in public administration. He was recently appointed by Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear to the Council for Postsecondary Education, and was awarded a fellowship with Health for America, working to mobilize youth in an effort to improve the health of communities by creating innovative technology solutions. He and his team were recognized by Forbes.com in an article entitled “The Power of Youth: Using the Tech Startup Mentality to Solve Healthcare Challenges,” and will be presenting research at a conference in Austin, Texas, as well as at Yale University and the International Conference on Health, Wellness and Society in Vancouver. Glenn continues to remain active in his community to bring attention to equality challenges and remains actively engaged in politics to address future concerns on fairness laws and healthcare policy.
