Evan Austin

Evanis a two-time Paralympic athlete for Team USA. He first competed in the London 2012 Paralympic Games where he placed 6th in the 100M breaststroke. He remained an active and devoted member of his chapter while continuing to compete all over North America. He took home gold in the 100m breaststroke at the 2014 CanAm Para-Swimming Championships and again in the 2015 CanAm. He returned to the global stage to represent Team USA at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games where he placed in the 4x100m freestyle relay, the 4×100 medley relay, the 100m breaststroke, and the 100m butterfly. As an alumnus, Evan continues to remain involved and took the opportunity to share his story as a keynote speaker for Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers this past January. In Evan’s words, “Good things happen to good people—so do some good. Every day you have the opportunity to change someone’s life.”
