The chapter was installed by James “Jim” Krutcher, Beta Alpha (NJIT), and Anthony Cipolla, Epsilon Theta (Seton Hall). The 61 refounding fathers were initiated into Pi Kappa Phi by our Beta Alpha (NJIT) and Alpha Xi (St. John’s) chapters.
Representing the national fraternity at the chapter’s chartering banquet were the Chief Executive Officer Mark E. Timmes, Alpha Epsilon (Florida), the Director of Chapter Volunteers Beau Samples, Eta Upsilon (Miami-OH), Senior Leadership Consultant Chris Aldarelli, Iota Lambda (Quinnipiac) and Leadership Consultant Francis Ahrens, Theta Lambda (Missouri State). The chapter was also joined by their advisor Cameron “Cam” Woods, Iota Omicron (Iona), and Seton Hall University’s Assistant Director of Leadership Development Michael Davis.
In addition to the staff and volunteers who were present, the chapter was also joined by seven of their original alumni. During the banquet, Leonard DePalma, Epsilon Theta’s first ever initiate, was able to present the chapter’s current archon with their new charter. The evening was certainly memorable for all, and a fantastic end to the fall 2016 semester.
The Seton Hall University Fraternity & Sorority Life community and Pi Kappa Phi are extremely proud of the men of Epsilon Theta and look forward to all that they will accomplish.
