Past National Historian Frank Wrenn, Mu (Duke), and Robb Olivieri, Iota Omicron (Iona), served as installation officers for the Fraternity’s chartering of our new Kappa Pi Chapter at Eastern Washington University. The Alpha Omega (Oregon) and Kappa Gamma (Montana) chapters initiated 24 founding fathers into the Pi Kappa Phi brotherhood. It was a memorable experience for all involved.
Assistant Executive Director of Expansion and Growth James Maloney, Beta Eta (Florida St.) and Director of New Chapter Development Chris Huffman, Theta Alpha (Southern Mississippi), represented the national fraternity and facilitated events over the weekend.
The chapter hosted their banquet at the McGinnity Room in downtown Spokane. Brother Wrenn delivered the keynote address, challenging the men to never forget the importance of the day and the work that went into their achievement. Brother Olivieri presented the chapter with their new charter after the keynote.
The Eastern Washington Fraternity & Sorority Life community and Pi Kappa Phi are both proud of the new founding father of the Kappa Tau Chapter and look forward to all that they will accomplish.
