Brothers gather in Dallas for Founders’ Day Celebration

28 brothers from chapters across the nation joined together for the celebration of Pi Kappa Phi’s Founders’ Day, in Grapevine, Texas (DFW).  Andrew Matznick, Epsilon Rho (Lenoir-Rhyne), Director of Program Development for The Ability Experience, shared the state of the fraternity and news about upcoming local service projects in the DFW area next year.  Russ Faulkner, Delta Psi (UT-Arlington), Vice President of the Ability Experience board, spoke about the Marine Corps Marathon held in Las Vegas recently and how impactful it was for those who volunteered and he encouraged all in attendance to volunteer at the Cowtown Marathon in Fort Worth, in February.

Jeff Alexander, Delta Psi (UT-Arlington), North Texas Regional Governor, spoke to the group about the creation of the DFW Alumni Association and how this group will create opportunities for volunteers to help with local chapters by assisting graduating seniors with networking and job opportunities, along with coordinating service projects and networking events for alumni.
