Alpha Lambda rechartered at Ole Miss

On a campus with over 150 years of Greek tradition, the men of Alpha Lambda have certainly stepped up to the challenge. Since colonizing in the fall semester of 2013, the chapter has continually grown into a diverse and well-rounded group of brothers. Their hard work and dedication to the ideals of Pi Kappa Phi paid off last Friday, when a total of 102 men were initiated into Alpha Lambda, making it the largest chartering in Pi Kappa Phi history. This accomplishment could not have been possible without the help of initiation teams from Theta Alpha (Southern Miss) and Iota Nu (Mississippi State), who brought a combined 30 men to help welcome the Alpha Lambda chapter into their Brotherhood.

On top of an already momentous weekend for the men of Alpha Lambda, they received some more fantastic news: Pi Kappa Phi Properties had finalized a lease on the old Sigma Phi Epsilon house on campus, allowing for the men of Alpha Lambda to use the house for chapter events and recruitment. Nearly 24 hours after the announcement, letters were up on the house (in addition to a freshly-painted door), officially marking Pi Kappa Phi’s arrival on campus.

The founding fathers of Alpha Lambda have prepared the chapter for success, and it will be exciting to see what the men accomplish into the future. Congratulations, and welcome brothers!
