Each position received individualized and interactive officer training with executive members from 36 other Midwest chapters. In addition, members spent time as an executive council to set measurable and achievable goals for the upcoming semester that focus on service, accountability, and brotherhood. At the awards semester, Alpha Gamma Chapter was honored with awards for Most Outstanding Recruitment Program and Most Outstanding Volunteer Relationship. Alpha Gamma was also nominated as a Master Chapter in campus involvement, governance, recruitment excellence, and branding and communication.
Highlights of the weekend included authentic Kansas City barbeque, a moving appeal to greatness by National Chief Executive Officer Mark E. Timmes, and advice on motivation and success. In addition to formal training, the members of the executive council greatly enjoyed spending time and growing closer as a team of brothers. They look forward to taking what they have learned and applying it to their chapter this coming semester.
