2020 Thirty Under 30: Taylor Lindholm

Taylor is a hard-working professional whose strengths are building relationships and serving his local community. He is a member of the Gamma Tau chapter at North Texas University. During his collegiate experience he served as Vice archon and archon and was recognized as Pi Kappa Phi’s Philanthropist of the Year in 2014. Before he graduated, he had already started his career full-time as digital sales assistant for WFAA, the top TV news station in Dallas, Texas. Within two years of starting this position, at 24 years old, he was promoted to Account Executive and was the youngest person in this position at his company. While in this position, he was nominated for the company’s President Club and the Digital AE for all of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Throughout the last five years he worked his way up and was recently hired at Nexstar Digital as the Director of Sales Southwest. He oversees all digital media sales in seven states and was awarded the Next Star Award for his sales performance in Q1 of 2020, which accounted for over $2,000,000 in revenue. Currently he is the youngest Sales Director for Nexstar at 27 years old. The accomplishments he is most proud of are buying his first home, marrying his wife, Rachael and beginning his new job at Nexstar. Outside of work he is a Youth Leader at his church for the high school ministry. Every Wednesday he meets with a group of junior and senior high school boys to provide mentorship, counseling and teachings and once a year he holds a retreat at his home that focuses on building a rhythm of prayer in his students. He is also an active member of the Gamma Tau alumni chapter and actively plans alumni gatherings. Additionally, he leads the Graduating Senior Ritual for his brothers at UNT. He says that before Pi Kappa Phi, he was a shy, quiet and insecure person but brotherhood allowed him a place where he could grow his leadership abilities and gain extreme confidence in his worth and abilities.
