Juan Solorio

Since graduation, Juan has had the privilege to serve his community through public service. After graduation he began an internship with the Mayor of San Fernando City. Now, he works as an area director for the office of Los Angeles Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez with a primary focus on community organizing and constituency services. With this position, he is able to work with community members and city agencies to address quality of life issues as well as address issues at a city-wide level. Through his work with Councilwoman Rodriguez, he’s contributed to the allocation of half a million dollars to the people and community he serves through providing assistance to homeless families and individuals to transition out of their situation.
