2018 Thirty Under 30: Bryan Williamson

Alpha Zeta – Oregon State University

After cycling on the 2015 Journey of Hope South Route, Bryan returned to the South Route upon graduating in 2016 as the Crew Chief. He began his law school career at the University of Oregon after flying from Washington, D.C. shortly after the Journey of Hope 2016 arrival. After he successfully completed his 1L year, Bryan served as the Summer Legal Fellow for Compassion and Choices, the nation’s oldest largest, and most active nonprofit organization committed to improving care and expanding options for the end of life. During his 2L year, Bryan was offered and accepted positions on the Oregon Law Review and Oregon Law Moot Court Team while also being named the 2017-18 Hans Linde Fellow at the University of Oregon School of Law. Bryan currently serves as a Chapter Advisor for the Alpha Omega Chapter at the University of Oregon and has also volunteered his time by organizing lodging, meals, and entertainment for the 2017 and 2018 Journey of Hope’s North and South Crews for their first night away from crew training.
