Tim McGrath, Iota Nu (Mississippi State), graduated as a Stephen D. Lee scholar with a bachelor’s of science in aerospace engineering. He is a proud founding father of Iota Nu. McGrath went on to receive a doctorate in aeronautics and astronautics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing his research on human physical performance. Today, McGrath works as a human performance engineer at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston developing tools to monitor and enhance astronaut health and performance in non-Earth environments as well as ground-based analog science facilities. He is committed to service by being actively involved in promoting STEM engagement for kids and supporting The Ability Experience. As a responsible citizen, McGrath supports engagement efforts to increase voter turnout and campaign and voting volunteerism.
