After graduation, Thomas Severin, Iota Omicron (Iona), continued his education at Binghamton University where he obtained a master’s of science in student affairs administration. While in graduate school, he served as the graduate assistant for fraternity and sorority life at Binghamton. Severin used this experience to begin his career at Wingate University and Adelphi University. Today, he is a teaching fellow who works as a special education teacher at a Title I school in New York City. Severin maintains his involvement with Pi Kappa Phi by volunteering with the national organization and serving as a chapter advisor. He is a member of Pi Kappa Phi’s individual and chapter conduct committee and a Northeast Greek Leadership Association conference planning committee member. Severin is dedicated to supporting not only Pi Kappa Phi, but the interfraternal community. He strives to empower young people with special needs and help them reach their full potential.
