The Pi Kappa Phi Thirty Under 30 Award seeks to recognize young alumni for their accomplishments in life after college and encourages other alumni to participate in the nomination process.
Thirty Under 30 nominations and applications are now closed. A committee of alumni will review applications and select honorees. These finalists will be awarded and their stories will be shared through the Star & Lamp and other fraternity communications.
THIRTY UNDER 30 QUALIFICATIONS
While qualifications for this honor can vary, there are some basic tenets reflective of Pi Kappa Phi that should be included:
- Commitment to fraternal values. The actions of each recipient reflect the values of the fraternity, especially leadership and service.
- Distinguished achievement. The alumnus has distinguished himself in his career field, his community, or in another demonstrable way which causes him to stand separate from his peers.
- Young alumni in good standing. The alumnus must be under the age of 30 as of May 1 of that year, graduated from a four-year institution, and be in good standing with both the national organization and his chapter.
Those who have previously won the Thirty Under 30 Award cannot be nominated for the award a second time.
