Joshua Velasquez, Alpha Theta (Michigan State), began a sales career in logistics in the city of Chicago. During this time, he contributed to The Ability Experience by providing meals for the north route Journey of Hope teams and continues to give back to the Greater Fraternity in various ways. Velasquez’s career shifted focus as he became inspired to pursue a law degree, and he is currently attending the Detroit Mercy School of Law. Dedicated to campus involvement, Velasquez is a member of various organizations on campus and founded the Sports Law Society where he now serves as vice president. Although he is a full-time student, Velasquez works as a law clerk at a tax law firm assisting in tax solutions for clients. He hopes he can continue to give back to Pi Kappa Phi, the organization he attributes as foundational for his successes.
