A LatinxEd 20 Under 20 scholar, Cristo Carrasco Mendoza, Eta Mu (Wingate), continues to bridge his passions for medicine and serving under-served community members. As a currently student at Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine (KPSOM), Carrasco Mendoza continues to give back to the community by serving on equity, inclusion and diversity and first-generation affinity group boards at KPSOM. He also mentors at UnderDocs, KPSOM Pathways, and volunteers at MiMentor. Carrasco Mendoza credits Pi Kappa Phi values, as part of his catalyst towards creating equitable healthcare access.
