As an undergraduate Alex was Eta Upsilon’s Archon. He remains an active alumnus as a member of their housing corp. After graduating in 2014 he was the Campaign manager for a state legislative candidate, Tim Brown, in Toledo. There he helped successfully re-elect one of the very few openly gay Republican legislators in the country in a very close district. He then went on to work as a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives where he assisted in moving several bills through the legislative process. In September of last year, Alex was selected to be the personal aide to Governor John Kasich on his Presidential run. He remained with the Governor throughout his campaign and has continued in this role back in the Governor’s official office.
