As an undergraduate at Florida State University, William founded Honors Delegates, a student organization that specializes in recruiting high-achieving high school students interested in FSU’s honors program. He was also a refounding father of the Beta Eta Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi at Florida State University, where he served as the founding Chaplain. Boyce graduated summa cum laude in religious studies, history and English and was named a 2011 Fulbright Full Grant Scholar to the United Kingdom, one of 35 in the country. He obtained a master’s of literature from the University of Glasgow’s Centre for the Study of Literature, Theology and the Arts, studying the cross-pollination of Christian theology and the arts. After completing his degree, Boyce returned to the United States and enrolled in the Master of Divinity program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston and will begin his doctoral work in Religious Studies at the University of Virginia in fall 2014.
