During his time as a founding father at Theta Xi, Tyler served as standards board chairman and Chaplain, among serving on various committees, and participated in Build America three times. Post graduation, Tyler served the National Fraternity as a leadership consultant specializing in starting and servicing new chapters. Upon returning to his hometown of Tempe, Ariz., in August 2010, Tyler served the Theta Xi chapter as Chaplain advisor, supported Iota Eta (Embry-Riddle) during their chartering, helped Theta Upsilon (Northern Arizona) double their chapter size, and facilitated Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers. Tyler also serves on the fraternity’s member education standing committee. He is now in Milwaukee attending Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he is in his third year. Tyler attends school on a scholarship from the United States Navy where he will serve as a Dental Officer upon graduation. While at Marquette, Tyler has served as the Ethics Chairman for the American Student Dental Association (ASDA). In addition, Tyler is a founding member and treasurer of the Special Care Dentistry Association, which aims to serve the oral healthcare needs of people with disabilities.
