And while Sayre obviously had little control in choosing those identities, the name he has made for himself is equally as impressive – as a sculptor, an inventor, a philanthropist, and visonary. Thomas Sayre is indeed many things, and among those is Pi Kappa Phi’s Hall of Fame inductee for 2007. To complment this great honor, the Star & Lamp presents a galley of his work along with the words of the Executive Director Emeritus Durward Owen, Xi (Roanoke), introducing Sayre at Pi Kapp College 2007 in Raleigh, N.C.
