The Theta Psi Chapter at RIT has been awarded the school’s highest possible Greek organization award, the President’s Cup, for the third consecutive year.
They were a 5-star chapter in the 2018 calendar year.
Judges were particularly impressed with the way the chapter addressed toxic masculinity, philanthropy and the use of on-campus resources.
Their chapter adviser Kurt Ingerick was also awarded Advisor of the Year, with the message:
“While this adviser has only served their chapter a few years, they have shown true dedication to their organization and the RIT Community. Not only does this adviser complete their required duties in aiding, guiding, and supporting the chapter, they also strive to support the individual members of the organization. These members have an adviser who goes out of their way to work with the chapter as a whole and with individual members to make sure they are being the best people they can be and, in turn, giving their best work to the chapter. This adviser represents the organizations values, is a truly good person, and pushes the chapter to improve themselves every day.’
