Even though Holt did not attend the University of Delaware with Stone, brothers have heard he also reflected the love and positive traits instilled by his parents. Every year, Theta Nu rewards one active brother with the Stone and Holt Humanitarian of the Year Award, recognizing the brother who portrayed the same level of passion for philanthropy and positive social change as Stone did when he was here at Delaware. At this ceremony, the chapter embraces the Weeks family and listens to the amazing and uplifting stories of their sons.
Mrs. Weeks commonly talks about how much Stone would rave about how awesome it was for his fraternity to have its own philanthropy, The Ability Experience. He strongly believed it changed lives for the better, and the passion he showed this belief with was unmatched. This year, Matthew Levine earned this award, mostly for being so actively involved in UDance, a fundraiser here at UD that strives to raise money to defeat childhood cancer.
