The Pi Kappa Phi and Ability Experience Instagram accounts are all about sharing who we are and what we do as Pi Kappa Phi brothers. We encourage our active members to take over for a day and show everyone why you are proud to be a Pi Kapp. By signing up to takeover @abilityexp or @pikappaphi, you agree to follow these rules & policies:

DO:

1. Spread the word. On the week of your takeover, post to your personal or chapter accounts on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. to inform your followers you’ll be posting to our account and encourage them to follow us.

2. Start with a video. Not required, but we like to have a quick introduction for the first post in your takeover. Take 10 seconds to tell our followers who you are and what you have planned for them.

3. Show us your day. Show us what is interesting and why you have taken over. Try to diversify your subject matter.

4. Use a text caption when necessary and utilize filters or stickers

5. Use Pi Kappa Phi’s tagline “Exceptional leaders. Uncommon opportunities.”

6. Feel free to let our followers know what your Instagram handle is at the end of your takeover if you want and thank them for watching.

DON’T:

1. Be rude or disrespectful. Don’t post mature content. No nudity, vulgarity or profanity. Keep the story clear of anything inappropriate, risk management violations, alcohol, cursing, etc.

2. Use Pi Kappa Phi’s outdated taglines: we will lead, men of class, etc.

3. Don’t go overboard with posts. Keep it quality over quantity, remember that if people are getting bored, they will skip the rest of the story altogether and potentially not watch future stories.

We reserve the right to deny anyone access to the account at any time for any reason. Possible reasons could include misconduct or non-adherence to these rules and policies.

PROMOTIONAL CONTENT:

Do not promote businesses or other accounts unless they are Pi Kapp related.

The communications team at HQ maintains this account and takes full responsibility for its content. If a post does not adhere to our rules, we reserve the right to delete it.
