Our August 2019 Student Spotlight goes to Justas Klimavicius, Kappa Epsilon (Stony Brook). Justas is a recent graduate in the class of 2019, having just completed a double major in business management and political science. He also completed a minor in international studies.
At Stony Brook, Justas was quite involved, volunteering his time as a student board member of the Undergraduate Student Government, a SAFETY board member and a student voting council member.
In his chapter Justas served as the philanthropy chairman and is a member of the Ad Astra Society, recognizing the top 1% of student leaders in Pi Kappa Phi.
This past spring he joined Pi Kapps from chapters across the country on a service trip to Guatemala for Ability Camp Guatemala with The Ability Experience. Most recently he has just wrapped up his summer of service on the Journey of Hope north team, where he surpassed his fundraising goal and raised over $6,600 in support of people with disabilities.
Justas has been recognized on campus with the Elizabeth D. Couey Award and the Student Recognition in Leadership Award.
We are excited to see what Justas accomplishes next and the impact he can have as an alumnus.
