Andrew will graduate in May with a degree in computer science and also commission into the U.S. Army as a second lieutenant. Gomez has held the positions of formal chair, treasurer, vice archon and archon in the undergraduate chapter. Andrew’s campus accomplishments also include being a member of Scabbard and Blade (college military honor society) as well as being a founding member of the school’s dodgeball club that competes at an intercollegiate level.
Recently ranked as the nation’s #2 most exceptional cadet in the country according to the U.S. Army’s Order of Merit List, Andrew will commission as a 2LT Officer in the United States Army Cyber Branch. He will leave for the Basic Officer Leaders Course in California shortly after graduation from North Georgia.
