What quickly became an instant tradition in 2012 is now a crowd favorite every year. Seventy five people (brothers and dates) enjoyed a private cocktail hour with a delicious hot and cold buffet, strolling magicians (one being Brother Wes Mathison of Theta Sigma – Cal State Long Beach), and warm fellowship. Quick welcomes and greetings were made by Magic Castle Special Events Manager (and member) Ben Roman (Eta Chi – TCU) who is also the City Event Coordinator for the Los Angeles area. Attendees were dazzled by the humor, wit, and illusion of headlining magician Joel Ward (Comedy Central’s Tosh.0), and then departed on VIP tours of the club and enjoyed more magic shows. It was indeed a magical evening of brotherhood! Next up: Founders Day celebration aboard the legendary Queen Mary in Long Beach on December 10th.
