Planets aligned and the SoCal Pi Kapps were able to coordinate a special cocktail mixer coinciding with the Pi Kapp College for Chapter Officers training weekend in L.A.
Involved National Staff (including Mark Timmes (CEO), Denise Nelson (Alumni Engagement), Christian Wiggins (Former COO), Ability Experience staff and more) arrived a day early to meet, mix and mingle with a few dozen local alumni brothers from chapters all over the country and their guests.
The central location was in beautiful Hermosa Beach, CA (which happened to be in a torrential downpour at the time) at Abigaile Restaurant. A private room was the perfect setting for appetizers, libations, and fellowship. Brothers were able to hear a state-of-the-fraternity address from Brother Timmes and get a meet-and-greet and photo ops with the staff.
2017 is poised to be another successful and active year for the SoCal Pi Kappa Phi alumni group.
