Samuel Garcia, 23, is currently a 2L at Harvard Law School. Before law school, he graduated from the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin and was a member of the Zeta Theta chapter. During his sophomore year of college, he created a charitable student organization called the Sustainable Dairy Goat Initiative that featured an innovative business plan to fight poverty with goats. This business plan was the subject of his first book called How Goats Can Fight Poverty, and that book turned into an overnight sensation becoming a bestseller approximately 12 hours after its release. This same business plan was also the subject of his TEDx Talk aptly named “How Goats Can Fight Poverty”. He then went on to write Launching Point. Hiz recent books—How a Goat Became Mayor and the Political Spring That Followed—both attained bestseller status in their respective categories.
