A 2007 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Management – Entrepreneurship, Padgett’s career in hospitality has been quickly successful. He started work with Fennell Holdings Inc., a Charleston Hotel conglomerate upon graduation. He quickly rose to become the General Manager at the Ansonborough Inn, located in Historic Charleston in 2010. During his one year at the helm, the Ansonborugh Inn was awarded the prestigious 4 Diamond award for the first time, and has received the same honor for four consecutive years. His work earned him the role of project manager and general manager of a brand new Holiday Inn Express by the North Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center, quickly being promoted to the general manager of his current property, the Holiday Inn-Charleston Airport & Convention Center. Outside of is work in hospitality, Padgett coaches youth basketball and is a member of the Greek social society AHEPA, the Charleston Area Hospitality Association (CAHA), and Pi Kappa Phi’s Alpha Chapter Alumni Board.
