Robert Robillard and his A Concord Carpenter team are experts in the carpentry business located in the Boston area. They also provide an informative newsletter and website that helps the average DIY-er and a Youtube channel featuring best practices and extensive product testing on some of the industry’s newest power and hand tools.
This past summer, member of the ACC team and Pi Kappa Phi alumnus Phil Benevides, Theta Mu (UMass Amherst), connected the ACC team to The Ability Experience. They conducted a two-day intensive tool and safety training for the 2014 Build America team, serving as an integral part of keeping the team safe throughout the summer. From learning how to read a ruler, to figuring out how to properly build a deck, this team made sure that the Build America team was set up for success. Fortunately, they have signed on to do the same work with the 2015 Build America team, and we could not be more thankful.
For their selflessness and willingness to teach our teams, for keeping the Build America teams safe, and for being the “good men that do something,” we thank Robert Robillard, Phil Benevides for helping to grow the partnership, and the whole A Concord Carpenter team.
